Doctrine:

What are the beliefs and doctrines of the Kingdom?  How does the faith of those within the fellowship differ from mainstream Christianity?  Here we will try to explore these various belief concepts in some detail.

One of the foremost things to bear in mind when studying this sect is the great pride Sandford and his followers held in the understanding that they were non-denominational.  Sandford left the Freewill Baptist denomination and expressed, at one point in time, a certain degree of repugnance with the idea of having ever been a part of that.  The differences that separated the Kingdom from the "world" worked to engender a degree of spiritual pride within the fellowship in a way similar to the feeling an athletic team would have regarding a defeated foe.   There were certain things about them that made them special in God's eyes in comparison to the chaff of the religious world, which would blow away in the wind of God's wrath to come.  Even though some in leadership acknowledged there were other "good Christian people" out there, Kingdom followers were steeped in the concept they were special in the Almighty's eyes because of their beliefs, behaviour patterns, and their infallible prophet's ability to restore the Kingdom of God on earth. They could endure great hardship with this mindset, and did.

The choices in the column to the left represent a sampler of Kingdom Doctrines.  We invite you to peruse them at your leisure.  You will find similarity to other religious perspectives in some, (See "The Roots" ) and, well, some you'll just have to digest for yourself.
